Project context
Transcollines is the transportation network of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, offering regular public transportation services, on-demand, intercity, and adapted for the 56,000 residents of this rural area.
Since 2021, the MRC has been involved in a project to modernize its mobility management and planning tools. The main objective of this large-scale project is to better coordinate all of the region's transport offers — Demand-Responsive Transport, Regular and School Transport — in order to offer a service that is more fluid, more reliable and better adapted to the needs of travelers.
Today, this project is taking a new step forward with the launch of an enhanced version of the mobile application, which marks a significant step forward towards more integrated, connected and 100% dematerialized mobility.
The stakes
The improvement of coordination between the different modes of transport in the area is a central issue to meet the growing expectations of travelers. Indeed, today they are seeking enhanced service quality tailored to their evolving mobility needs. To achieve this, it is essential to leverage advanced technologies to optimize the use of resources and vehicles, while streamlining the organization of networks. Moreover, the integration of neighboring transport networks, such as the STO in Gatineau and OC Transpo in Ottawa, facilitates interregional travel and better connects the territories. Finally, simplifying the user journey through unified digital solutions — encompassing planning, booking, payment, and validation — is a strategic lever to provide a smooth and coherent mobility experience.

A MaaS platform, an acronym for “Mobility as a Service”, is an integrated mobility application bringing together different modes of transport within a single platform. We also talk about “service mobility”. It aims to offer users a comprehensive solution for their travel needs in a given city or territory, by combining various services such as public transport, carpooling, self-service bikes and other mobility options.
Above all, a MaaS tool such as Cityway represents opportunities for a city or territory to save time in transport management. Repetitive tasks are automated, allowing you to devote your time to essential missions. In addition, our tools improve operational performance, making it possible to streamline operations by reducing expenses. A MaaS platform also allows you to gain control: all the data collected is returned to a dashboard, allowing you to make informed decisions. Finally, let's not forget the clear benefit that such a solution brings to your image: our mobile applications and websites contribute to promoting the network and giving it a positive image among travelers.
Absolutely! With Citiway, your mobile application and website are white labeled, so that they can be recognized by travelers. Add your logo, colors, domain name, and the application to the main stores.
To date, we are pleased to support numerous networks, cities and territories in France and internationally: Paris, Le Havre, Toronto (Canada), the South Region, the Grand-Est Region, New Aquitaine, New Aquitaine, New Aquitaine, New Aquitaine, France, Brittany, Brittany, Brittany, Saint Etienne, Hamilton (Canada)...
